You have just tuned into the 80's edition of ShutterGirls.com, but before I talk about that, I want to talk about a very exciting event that we will be attending next week. that's right, Star Wars Celebration IV , which ties into the 30 year anniversary of Star Wars ANH. So if you happen to be in LA next week, stop by the LA Convention center and look for me as Princess Leia and Mara Jade.
And... onto the 80's. This week we have a fun set from Jewels, which we are calling back to the 80's. The 80's was filled with many life changing events... some of the most important being the Berlin Wall coming down and the identification of the AIDs virus, but I think what we remember the most is the music, the big hair bands, the clothing, and movies like "Feris Bueler's Day Off" and "Back to the Future". Jewel's brings us a little taste of the 80's by jumping under a blacklight with her off the shoulder top and her big hoop earings. We should note the Jewel's was actually born in the 80's...
