How’s everyone doing this week? There has been so much going on in the world of Fandom lately, including the return of John McClain in “Live Free or Die Hard”, a big blockbuster “Transformers” movie opening on July 4th and let’s not forget the return of "Indiana Jones" in 2008. We are very excited with all of this news and also eagerly anticipating the "San Diego Comic Con " which is coming in July!
To properly celebrate, our sets over the next couple of months will be inspired by Comics, film, and other pop media events, starting with the comics section, our very own “Syn” goes Rogue.
This weeks photo set of Syn is inspired by Marvel’s “Ultimate Rogue” as seen in ULTIMATE X-MEN ANNUAL #1, written by Brian K. Vaughan, in which she and Gambit fight Juggernaut. Gambit sacrifices himself to save Rogue, and she kisses him as he dies. With this kiss, she steals his powers and seemingly overwrites her own (this also affects Rogue's appearance, as she acquires black eyes with red pupils).
